This little thing rips, flies very smooth and captures epic footage. Favorite quad in 9 years of FPV experience.
This thing is incredible, especially for the price. It does not handle like a 5" but it also doesn't handle like a tinywhoop. A 4s cinewhoop is it's own thing and once you get used to it you will be hooked. The durability seems great, it has already survived a failsafe from 9 stories up caused by a 5G antenna. The overall design of the quad is pretty much unparalleled, even by the more expensive Cinewhoop offerings. The USB-C port in the front should be standard for any enclosed-stack design. The long platform for battery mounting is just incredibly versatile, any 3-4s pack 110G and under is going to fit just fine with plenty of room behind the camera mount. The camera mount is super sturdy and integrated very well.
Negatives for this quad: The bottom plate carries the VTX, and it has to come off to remove the prop guard part of the frame, meaning you have to unplug the VTX to open it up. The wires are short and its quite finicky to do. The good part of this unfortunate location is the VTX heat sink is designed to have tons of airflow. The run for the antenna to the back of the quad is long and requires either a U.fl extender or long antenna.
Thank you DarwinFPV for making something so awesome so affordable and thank you RDQ for always making it happen!
